Claude Bot is software you install and run on your own computer. There is no Claude Bot service, no account to create, and no server that receives your data. This policy describes what the software does with the data it touches while running on your machine.

What is stored, and where

• Everything Claude Bot keeps — messages, summaries, settings, and the access tokens for any account you connect — is written to a folder on the computer running it. Nothing is uploaded to the author of this software.
• Access tokens are stored so the app can keep working without asking you to sign in each day. They stay on that machine and are removed when you disconnect the account.

Google user data

If you connect a Google account, Claude Bot requests only the access it needs for the features you use:

• Gmail — to read the messages it is summarising for you, and to apply labels, archive, and mark messages as read, which are the actions the digest performs on your behalf. It does not permanently delete mail, does not send mail, and does not change your Gmail settings.
• Google Calendar and Google Drive — read access, used only when you ask for something that needs it.

Google user data is used solely to produce the summaries and perform the filing you asked for. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to train any model, and not shared with anyone — with one exception you control, described next.

AI model providers

To write a summary, Claude Bot sends the relevant text to the AI model you have configured. That may be a model running locally on your own machine, in which case nothing leaves it, or a hosted provider such as Anthropic or OpenRouter, in which case the text of the items being summarised is sent to that provider under their terms. You choose which provider each job uses, and you can choose a local model to keep everything on your machine.

Retention and deletion

• Data stays on your machine until you delete it. Deleting the application's data folder removes everything it has stored, including access tokens.
• Disconnecting a Google account removes its stored tokens immediately. You can also revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Security

Claude Bot runs locally and listens only on the machine it is installed on. Its data folder is protected by that computer's own user account and disk encryption; anyone with access to the machine has access to the data, so it should be run on a computer only you use.

Children

Claude Bot is not intended for use by children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Because the software runs on your machine, a change here never alters what a version you have already installed does.
